I had the whole weekend plus 3 days off in exchange of going to the office on holy week and took advantage of it and explored Bicolandia alone. First, Donsol, Sorsogon for the butanding. While getting to "ride" a butanding was an amazing experience, discovering this little piece of surfing heaven tucked in an unknown corner of Catanduanes was fulfilling. I don't surf, but watching the locals surf their hearts out so early in the morning made me want to learn how.
Travelling alone was an amazing experience. I got to meet the coolest people in the most unexpected places. It's addicting and I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

A favorite during the Hot Air Festival, this was taken with a borrowed 50mm lens(thanks eye!). With some luck and (big time) scrimping, I might be able to get meself one of those. *cross fingers*
